  • Overview

    Conduct full-cycle recruiting efforts incuding talent sourcing, candidate evaluation, screening, and interview, offer negotiations and responses. Serve as candidate advocate between the organization and applicants, informing applicants of job and organization details such as responsibilities, compensation package, working conditions and opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct full-cycle recruiting efforts incuding talent sourcing, candidate evaluation, screening, and interview, offer negotiations and responses. Serve as candidate advocate between the organization and applicants, informing applicants of job and organization details such as responsibilities, compensation package, working conditions and opportunities.
    • Assist Director of Recruitment with the implementation of staffing strategies and activities and collaborate with team members toward department objectives.
    • Improve recruitment services provided to hiring managers, candidates, and Human Resources associates, as appropriate; includes making recommendations, maintaining current recruitment resources and systems, and maintaining communication with candidates and hiring managers.
    • Collaborate with, and inform, team members of current staffing strategies and recruitment efforts to foster a positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
    • Maintain and prepare manual records and metrics related to recruitment efforts.

     

    Qualifications

     

    • Three years of increasingly responsible recruiting experience. Disability services, non-profit and/or healthcare industry experience preferred.
    • Experience establishing and maintaining credibility and working relationships with all levels of management and colleagues.
    • Experience identifying and developing multiple channels to identify passive candidates including cold-calling.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain customer-service orientation and professionalism in all interactions.
    • Ability to share responsibility, work independently, as well as a team member.
    • Ability to prioritize and organize a diversified workload, be proactive, and have the ability to produce high-quality results with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Ability to develop, maintain and manage meaningful hiring metrics.
    • Able to obtain criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation per Easterseals Southern California and/or program requirements.
