Coordinate and process physician referrals, reports and re-authorizations as directed by Therapy Services Manager and/or Director.
Communicate with medical providers, Therapy Center associates and Contracted Therapy Service providers to ensure appropriate participant assignments and documentation for therapy services.
Coordinate, communicate and document interactions with participant, family and/or caregiver regarding Therapy Center and/or Contracted Services, assignments, schedules, concerns, suggestions, input, grievances, referrals or reports, as needed.
Provide professional oral and written communication skills with participants, associates, medical Therapy Service Coordinators and Case Managers. Exemplify Easter Seals Mission and Vision.
Communicate, meet and collaborate with Therapy Services Manager and associates. Participate in efficient, effective, quality service and Performance Improvement Projects. Provide Spanish communication and/or translation as needed.
3 plus years of customer service and Administrative experience
Ability to maintain positive customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions.
Able to consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
Ability to exercise discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
Able to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations.
Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc) and related medical or healthcare computer software.
Able to obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation per Easterseals Southern California and/or program requirements.
