Easterseals Southern California is looking for a results-driven Digital Marketing Manager to work closely with the Director of Digital Marketing to assist with formulating social media and website content, analytics, schedules and strategy to expand brand awareness, ensure a consistent voice across our multiple media platforms, and increase traffic flow to our organization’s website and social media pages. The Digital Marketing Manager should have knowledge of the non-profit sector.  Knowledge of the disability community a plus


  • Research and write engaging social media content that is shareable, consistent with the Easterseals Southern California brand and incorporates SEO best practices
  • Work with Director of Digital Marketing to develop and implement social media calendars and initiatives to generate additional awareness of our services and fundraising events as well as current issues and topics within the disability community
  • Coordinate posting schedule for branded profiles on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and other social media/user generated accounts
  • Manage content and post content to various social media platforms and websites
  • Report on KPIs/analytics as requested
  • Support development of daily, weekly, campaign-driven and long-term social media content strategy
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, apps, and effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media techniques
  • Conduct social trend and influencer research as needed
  • Prepare weekly reports measuring social media audience growth and the effectiveness of social activity and campaigns
  • Become a brand ambassador and advocate of Easterseals Southern California services in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues with our audience where appropriate
  • Assist with administrative tasks as assigned.


  • Minimum of 3 years of social media management/marketing for a website and/or media company
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, advertising or related degree is preferred
  • Demonstrated use of social media for business and technical familiarity with popular social media platforms and tools and their respective participants (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Hootsuite or Buffer a plus
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong grammar skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format
  • Team player, with the confidence to educate other departments about social media tactics and
  • Good technical understanding with an ability to pick up new tools quickly
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills; working knowledge of writing for SEO
  • Editorial and/or a marketing/PR background helpful
