Reporting to the VP of Marketing Communications, the Communications Coordinator provides technical and administrative support to a project intensive, extremely busy Marketing Communications Department which includes a Director of PR & Social Media and a Director of Internal Communications.


  • Assist in coordination of the design, printing and distribution of marketing materials.
  • Identify and research content for posting on the organization's social media platforms and intranet.
  • Format photos for use on social media, intranet, websites and other platforms.
  • Minor copywriting which may include creating social media posts, internal news posts, marketing copy.
  • Respond to email inquiries from the general public.
  • Administrative duties as assigned; will include reorganizing the department's online file system, organizing intranet content (photos, documents) maintaining PR clips.


  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Experience posting to a website content management system and social media platforms
  • Marketing Communications experience in copywriting and graphic design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Problem solving attitude
  • Flexible, change embracing in rapidly evolving work and market environment Ability to relate to and work with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Experience using Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Reader (full version) and MS Office required; Illustrator and InDesign a plus
