OVERVIEW OF POSITION:
Supports the Therapy Services team to ensure consistency of clinical quality and service delivery by creating,
maintaining and updating workflows, training resources, clinical competencies and IOAs, audit preparation, and direct training of staff. Collaborates with Therapy Supervisors, Administrative Assistants, CSDs, CQA Team,EHR analysts, ABA Team as needed. Travels to all internal therapy centers on a routine basis for training, and Network Partners as needed. Provides direct therapy services to maintain a monthly productivity requirement of 25%.
Pay: $97-110k salary
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Reviews, maintains, organizes and updates all Therapy Services workflows on an ongoing basis under the
direction of the RVPs.
Reviews, develops, updates training materials and resources for Therapy Services on an ongoing basis
under the direction of the RVPs.
Develops and maintains a new associate clinical skills check list and training material to provide clinical
support from the new hire start date.
Coordinates with OT Mentorship team and Student Intern program leads to support training material.
Reviews Clinical Competencies (CC’s) for all internal Therapy Centers on a monthly basis and performs CC
IOA’s when indicated.
Provides updates to the Therapy Supervisors and RVPs on CC status for each internal Therapy Center and
provides support and training to staff for areas of need.
Provides CMT trainings to Therapy Services staff on a monthly basis virtually and in person.
Attends regular meetings with Therapy Supervisors, Administrative Assistants, CSDs, CQA Team, EH R
analysts, ABA Team and RVPs as needed.
Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and understanding on all training materials. Adapt training
approachs according to the trainee’s needs.
Travels to internal Therapy Centers and Network Partners as needed to provide in person trainings.
Maintains a minimum monthly productivity requirement of 25%.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Requires a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Speech-Language Pathology or
Occupational Therapy.
Must have and maintain a valid California license to practice in the incumbents respective discipline.
Current Board certification required.
Must possess and maintain a current CPR certification.
EXPERIENCE:
3 years’ experience preferred working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a multi-disciplinary team setting, as a licensed speech-language pathologist or occupational therapist.
Leadership experience in providing support, supervision or mentorship to students, assistants and or
certified therapists.
Proven track record of leading successful team projects, achieving measurable results.
Facilitated group presentations or discussions to other licensed therapists related to a professional topics.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point,
Sharepoint).
Identify areas of strengths and deficits based on QA (analyze data, reports, etc.).
Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written skills with all levels of staff.
Ability to maintain customer service focus and professionalism when interacting with individuals both
internal and external to the organization.
Ability to exercise discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality to handle sensitive and
confidential situations and documentation.
Ability to pass a post-offer physical examination and a TB test.
Ability to provide proof of required vaccinations or positive titer showing immunity. A signed declination
may be acceptable for certain vaccinations.
Ability to obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and
Federal Bureau of Investigation per Easterseals of Southern California and/or program requirements.
Ability to travel to all internal Therapy Centers and Network Partners with own reliable transportation;
maintain driving record in compliance with Transportation Safety Standards; maintain auto insurance and
vehicle registration.
The position requires frequent bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and twisting in order to observe,
assess, and interact with participants.
Frequent speaking, listening to clients, staff, and other professionals in meetings and on the telephone.
Occasional walking, bending, sitting on the floor for extended period of time, and using upper and lower
limbs to drive automobile to and from home visits and meetings.
Occasional sitting and maintaining close visual attention to write reports and work at a computer.
Occasional lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading materials used for training puroposes.
Must pass all drug testing required by ESSC.
