Overview

Program Coordinator will coordinate all aspects of the services to ensure proper service delivery to the people we support and compliance with program design. Position involves extensive involvement with people of diverse backgrounds and excellent administrative skills.  Must be bilingual Spanish speaking, have a drivers license and be able to multi task to support Director as needed.  Position located in Montebello, CA.

 

PART TIME   20 hours per week (during Monday through Friday/daytime hours)   $21.50/hr.

Responsibilities

Oversee the service coordination of designated individuals including intake process, meetings, contacts, and training sessions. Ensure health and safety of individuals through development and implementation of standards, guidelines, and services. Supervise all associates in the program. Coordinate weekly schedules with the needs of the individuals supported. Oversee quality assurance of program. Monitor completion of all required individual documentation and data. Ensure proper completion of all required staff documentation, performance appraisals, time sheets and mileage reports. Be responsible for billing and attendance, bus pass reconciliations, petty cash, and the transportation safety program. Coordinate and conduct associate meetings and training.

Qualifications

 

  • A minimum of two years of supervisory experience is required.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred.
  • Must be computer literate, dependable, organized, and very detail-oriented. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and written with all levels of staff, the general public and program individuals. 
  • Must have good leadership skills and be fiscally responsible. 
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills 
  • Ability to provide assistance with personal care to individuals, including ability to transfer an individual who has no weight-bearing skills. 
  • Ability to walk, stand, stoop and push a wheelchair and be out in a variety of weather; ability to lift 70 pounds repetitively.
  • Ability to pass health screening and fingerprint clearance. 
  • Ability to travel locally with reliable transportation and valid CDL with proper auto insurance and vehicle registration required.
