Overview

The Rewards & Recognition Program Manager at Easterseals is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing employee recognition programs that enhance employee satisfaction, boost morale, and foster a positive work culture. This role involves working closely with management and HR teams to ensure alignment with Easterseals' mission and objectives, promoting the program internally.

 

This is a hybrid position which requires working in our Irvine office 1-2 days per week. We are seeking candidates based in Southern California only.

Hiring Range: $93,500 - $114,500

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Design and Implement Programs: Develop comprehensive employee recognition programs tailored to Easterseals' values and goals.
  • Employee Engagement: Conduct surveys and focus groups to understand employee motivations and
    gather feedback.
  • Collaboration: Work with management and HR to align programs with Easterseals' mission and objectives.
  • Evaluation: Regularly assess the effectiveness of recognition programs and make necessary adjustments.
  • Promotion: Educate employees about the recognition program and its benefits.
  • Event Coordination: Organize recognition events and initiatives, such as award ceremonies.
  • Criteria Development: Establish consistent and fair criteria for employee recognition.
  • Nomination and Selection: Oversee the nomination and selection process for awards.
  • Budget Management: Manage the program budget and allocate funds effectively.
  • Reporting: Track and report on program outcomes, including participation and satisfaction rates.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Certification in HR or related fields (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a role focused on employee recognition or
    engagement.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful recognition programs.
  • Experience in a similar role within a large organization.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of employee engagement strategies. 
  • Familiarity with HR best practices and legal requirements.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.Proficiency in using HR software and tools.
  • Abilities: Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
